The delegation of Ukraine was presented by parliamentarians, government officials, diplomats and independent experts.  On behalf of the Council of Europe, the consultation was attended by experts from the Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law, the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture, the Venice Commission, the Secretariat of the European Court of Human Rights. Following the discussions, the participants identified the main problem areas of the document and discussed ways of its improvement. The establishment of the State Bureau of Investigation has be a fundamentally important step in reform of criminal justice in Ukraine, concluded european experts.
