The Head of State informed that he had submitted to the Parliament draft amendments to the Constitution that provide for decentralization of power in Ukraine and are one of the key elements of the peace plan for the Donbas. "It is the issue of decentralization which is an important element of the peace plan," the President stressed.

Petro Poroshenko emphasized that Ukraine needs speedy consideration of the given document by the Venice Commission.

In his turn, Gianni Buquicchio assured that the Venice Commission is ready to consider the draft amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in the nearest time and provide preliminary conclusions.

"Ukraine is in my heart. We will be with you, Mr. President and with your country. Europe is with you," the President of the Venice Commission said.
