Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

Born in Vinnytsia region on 22 September 1967.

Education: graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Romance and Germanic Philology), the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (International Law), and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy.

Professional experience:

In 1993, began his diplomatic career as Attaché in the Directorate for Arms Control and Disarmament of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From 1995 to 1998, served at the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium.
From 1998 to 2005, held various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2005, appointed Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco (USA).
From 2008 to 2010, held senior positions in the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine.
From 2010 to 2016, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe.
In 2016, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, Representative of Ukraine to the EU and the European Atomic Energy Community, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with concurrent accreditation.
From May to September 2021, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Since September 2021, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From April to September 2024, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
From September 2024 to July 2025, Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine.
In August 2025, appointed Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe.

Speaks English and French.
