Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Borys Tarasyuk, signed on behalf of Ukraine the "European Convention on the Abolition of Legalisation of Documents executed by Diplomatic Agents or Consular Officers"  in the presence of Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe,  on 23 April 2021, in the Palace of Europe, Strasbourg.

The Convention is ratified by 25 states: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, 
Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey,  Great Britain, El Salvador.
